Summit International Flooring holds toy drive

[Livingston, N.J.] On Dec. 6, Summit International Flooring (SIF) dropped off new toys for the children in the Child Life Department at the Saint Barnabas Medical Center here. The donation drive took place Thursday, Nov. 16th through Tuesday, Dec. 5th at SIF’s corporate office in Whippany, New Jersey. Throughout those few weeks, SIF employees, clients, partners, neighbors and community members all made donations.

“The amount of donations we received for this toy drive was astounding. Although we knew we would be able to count on our friends and families to help donate, we were pleasantly surprised by how many business partners and community members also contributed,” said David Numark, president and CEO of Summit International Flooring. “Having a child in the hospital during anytime of the year is hard enough. But I can only imagine that hardship grows immensely during the holiday season. Therefore, we wanted do something that would hopefully help families have one less thing to worry about.”
