Karndean Designflooring to showcase at Globalshop 2017

[Export, Pa.] Karndean Designflooring will be showcasing its full vinyl tile (LVT) flooring retail product portfolio, featuring its newest products, LooseLay Longboard and Korlok, at Globalshop 2017 at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay, the company announced. Korlok is the newest addition to Karndean’s extensive product range. Korlok features Karndean’s proprietary K-Core technology and superior dimensional stability for installation over most existing and imperfect subfloors, and passes the ASTM test for indentation resistance. This range utilizes a premium 5G drop lock installation system for a fast and easy install, perfect for projects with quick tenant or floorset turnaround. According to the company, its specially formulated acoustic foam backing, combined with its K-Core, delivers an impressive IIC rating of 62, making it ideal for multi-level applications or anywhere that sound is a consideration. LooseLay Longboard’s 59” long planks are quick and easy to install, and are ideal for remodeling existing spaces, as it can be laid over existing tile, LVT and VCT, Karndean said. LooseLay Longboard is anchored in place by Karndean’s friction-grip K-Wave backing and does not require full stick adhesive. This product range is also a great solution for temporary spaces, like pop-up shops. According to the company, Karndean’s custom Kaleidoscope collection takes designflooring to a whole other level. This collection of modular designs utilizes Karndean’s most popular colors from its gluedown ranges, custom cut in compatible geometric formats which are designed to fit together. In addition, Karndean’s six gluedown ranges will also be on display at the show. Karndean’s gluedown ranges offer highly realistic wood and stone looks in more than 200 varieties and sizes. These ranges may be installed in conjunction with design strips, borders, or special cuts to create a customized floor unique to a particular space. In retail environments, this allows for highlighting featured displays, creating pathways which facilitate traffic flow, or incorporating a custom logo. Each of these innovative formats can be seen in Karndean’s inspirational floor design in booth 3511. Guests can enjoy champagne and a caricature artist in the Karndean booth from 1-5 PM on March 28. Karndean products feature wear layers from 12mil – 30mil and carry commercial warranties of up to 20 years.
